Hello from Paris!

As the photo suggests, January in Paris is a little chilly. We’re happy to report that we have arrived safely, settled into our apartment near Montmartre and are acclimatising to a French winter. Since we’ve been here we’ve been doing a bit of sight-seeing, going out to lots of shows, finding our way around the Metro, supermarket and postal service and locating a rehearsal space. One of the highlights of our time here so far has been to finally meet in person a number of people we’ve only known previously through email and MySpace, foremost amongst them being Christophe, the manager of our french label Ocean Music, who was an invaluable help to us during our first few days in Paris. We’re having a wonderful time here and in recent days have been keeping busy writing songs for the next record. We’re also preparing for our first shows in Europe, details of which will appear here soon.

Thanks to everyone who came along to our farewell show at The Tote and helped make it a really fun and special evening for us.
